Unlike traditional asphalt paving companies, our approach allows us to make the necessary asphalt repairs without having to mobilize large equipment and crews. This means that we can complete the job at a fraction of the cost that traditional paving companies would charge.
This is particularly beneficial for small repair jobs, such as potholes, which can cost thousands of dollars when done by a traditional paving company. Our asphalt repair services are more efficient, cost-effective, and tailored to the specific needs of the job, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach
Why are asphalt repairs important?
It is a fact that potholes, if left unrepaired, will only worsen over time. These small cracks and holes in the road can lead to bigger asphalt repairs down the line, such as costly repaving projects.
However, by addressing and fixing potholes in a timely manner, it is possible to prevent further damage and avoid the need for larger, more expensive repair projects. One effective solution for this is to use asphalt repair services of a reputable asphalt repair company like Spadoni Asphalt. We have the experience and expertise to fix small potholes, preventing them from becoming bigger problems in the future. By taking care of these issues early on, it can save money, time, and improve the overall safety of the road.
In addition to fixing potholes, Spadoni Asphalt Maintenance provides other types of asphalt repair services:
These damaged areas will only continue to deteriorate over time if left unrepaired. By contracting Spadoni Asphalt to fix these issues, you can delay or even eliminate the need for expensive repaving in the future.
By taking action now, you can save money and ensure that your asphalt surfaces remain safe and functional for years to come.
Asphalt repairs, especially when they are caught early on, can be a very cost-effective solution for preventing larger and more expensive repairs down the road. This is because the majority of asphalt repairs, such as filling in cracks or patching potholes, tend to be relatively inexpensive, often costing less than $1,000. On the other hand, repaving an entire asphalt surface can be a much more costly undertaking, with costs potentially reaching tens of thousands of dollars or more.
By catching and addressing small issues with asphalt repair services before they have a chance to escalate, property owners and managers can save a significant amount of money in the long run.
The first step for asphalt repairs is to remove the damaged area. This involves using a specialized saw to cut out the old asphalt. After cutting, we remove old asphalt, roots, and other materials from the area. The base is then leveled and compacted, adding additional gravel if needed.
Once the base is prepared and ready, we add between 2"-3" of hot asphalt which has been heated to over 300 degrees. The asphalt is then compacted using a plate compactor.
The last step is to seal the seams with hot tar. This seals the seams between the old and new asphalt preventing water intrusion.
After the new asphalt has been installed the area will be open to traffic in a few hours.
